About Hill Recovery: One of California’s Top Recovery Centers

About Hill Recovery: One of California’s Top Recovery Centers

The Hill Recovery Center was founded in 1986 and has served Temecula, California, and the surrounding area for twenty-eight years. Owners Rocky and Debbie Hill are committed to providing a caring and supportive environment for recovering drug and alcohol addicts and their families.

Hill Recovery is an outpatient facility. The staff at Hill believes an addict often recovers best when he or she is able to go home to family each night and receive familiar, in-home support. Everyone at Hill wants the addict to recover completely and life a life “beyond [his or her] wildest dreams.” Their team includes counselors with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, as well as three medical directors. Their medical directors have completed programs at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.

One of the unique aspects of Hill Recovery Center is its director’s own journey. Rocky Hill began his own recovery from addiction in 1990 and has since earned a Master’s degree in psychology. He has also spent 19 years as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Rocky’s own journey to recovery and his passion for helping those suffering from addiction makes him more relatable as a director. It also helps him meet addicts where they are and offer hope that complete recovery is possible.

Hill Recovery Center provides comprehensive patient assessments for both adults and adolescents struggling with drug and alcohol use. Assessments cover the addict’s medical and family histories and ask what elements of his or her culture and traditions the staff should know before treatment begins. Addicts are also invited to discuss spirituality on the application so that if they desire, faith traditions may be part of their treatment. Group and individual counseling sessions are also offered.

The Hill Recovery staff knows addiction is a prevalent problem; one out of four families struggles with active addiction. However, the purpose of Hill Recovery is to encourage addicts and their families to get better. With accountability, determination, warmth, and rebuilding of trust, lasting recovery is possible.
